Finest fGLD

What the client owns
A contract right against FI finest Investments GmbH to take delivery of one gram of 999.9 gold per token; the gold sits in the issuer’s own depot at pro aurum GmbH, Munich. Third-party synthetic: A note or swap that pays like the security and carries no rights in it.
Who may hold it
US retail investors. First purchase minimum not stated. State coverage not confirmed by the issuer. Private and institutional holders aged 18 and over, after KYC, except residents of 32 excluded countries; the United States is not among them, but the issuer ships gold only within Germany and the EU. The minimum purchase is one token (one gram), priced at spot plus €9 per gram with five years of storage paid in advance. Holders may pass tokens to others only without the intention of making a profit.
Who can freeze or claw back
Cardano: can mint.
How it exits
Redeem in kind. A verified holder emails a redemption request for at least one token and receives gold, shipped within Germany (€19 to €49) or the EU (€89), or collected at a pro aurum branch in Germany or Zurich. Redemption itself is free and takes several working days. No shipping to the US. After five years, unpaid storage fees let the issuer sell the holder’s gold, and the tokens expire. Settles in XAU (gold bars, shipped in Germany and the EU or collected).

This file replaced an earlier record on 2026-09-29. The file listed fGLD on Cardano without a reading of who controls the token there. This version adds that reading, so a client wallet holding it now matches this file. Superseded records.

Who may buy, hold, transfer, and redeem

What the holder owns

A right to buy one gram of gold per token from the issuer, not ownership of bars.

“The finest GoldToken represents one right to purchase goods for 1g of gold per token”

Who holds the keys

Every current holder of each power, read from the chain on 2026-09-29. A single key is one private key: whoever holds it acts alone. A multisig needs the stated number of signers. A timelock makes every action wait, so holders can see it coming.

What the monitor reads daily

Every control function in the table above and the contracts the token consults on transfer; the token’s on-chain supply against yesterday’s; and its market quote against yesterday’s quote. Every document quoted above is re-read too, and a quote that leaves its document reopens the file. A key that appears, disappears, or changes shape counts as a change only when the chain’s own log shows the grant, revocation, or signer change between yesterday’s block and today’s; a difference the log does not show updates this file’s key list and nothing more. A change opens a review item in the governance queue and reopens the file before any client action. Subscribers get an email naming each of their clients who hold it, with the household result.
