Tizi is rejected because it is below the size floor. It accepts USDC through its Base main vault, issues dollar-targeting TD, and lets holders stake TD for appreciating ERC-4626-style stTD while managers deploy collateral across chains and yield strategies. DefiLlama measured $223,469 on Base on 2026-08-16, only 0.22% of the size floor. We will not open the individual review until it clears that floor, including manager, bridge, strategy, NAV, negative-rebase, and queued-redemption risks that could affect an advised allocation.

The research file

Mechanism applicability

Users deposit USDC and let Tizi select strategies. TD targets a 1:1 USDC value, while stTD represents staked TD and grows as reported gains are released over seven days. Losses can instead burn TD and reset netAssets to reported NPV. The docs state that holders bear the risks of every collateral protocol.

Control and cross-chain applicability

A Manager moves USDC among internal contracts, chains, and strategies, harvests rewards, and manages liquidity. A Strategy Manager controls self-built strategies, an Attester validates cross-chain messages, and a multisig System Admin appoints roles and changes important parameters. Timelocks for new strategies provide notice, but holders do not control execution.

Exit applicability

Unstaking stTD takes seven days before holders can claim TD. TD targets a 1:1 withdrawal into USDC, potentially with a fee. If the Base reserve is too low, the holder receives a transferable TUWT queue NFT until managers rebalance cross-chain or strategy assets. The stated normal 24-hour expectation does not guarantee a stressed-exit deadline.

Why the dossier still applies

DefiLlama measured $223,469 within the Base main-vault accounting perimeter on 2026-08-16, 0.22% of the size floor. The protocol is below that floor, so we will not open the individual review until TVL clears it for 30 days. We will then reconcile cross-chain assets and liabilities, verify NPV and loss recognition, map privileged roles and bridges, and stress the seven-day stTD plus TUWT redemption sequence at the proposed size.

Research status

This is a capacity-unproven record for Tizi, not a quality rejection or approval. Reported TVL says how big the venue is, not what the client owns, who can change the rules, or how a position exits at a proposed size. The individual review opens when the protocol clears the size floor.

Sources

The claims above trace to these. Where a number could not be independently verified, the thesis says so.

Inherited controls

The research above describes the protocol layer. Every position also inherits the asset it holds and the chain it settles on. The layer with the most administrative power sets the position’s effective control; that describes control, not quality or suitability.
