Phase Stake (YIELD)
YIELD is a Solana stake-pool token backed by SOL delegated to a single validator that Phase runs itself at zero commission. It is a liquid-staking claim on an eligible chain, so it joins the version-1 comparative review with its concentration recorded.
- New evidence materially changes the economic claim, control path, loss path, or exit mechanics
- The firm shelf policy changes for this economic-claim family

The research file
Mechanism applicability
YIELD is issued through a Solana stake pool, and the SOL behind it is staked to one validator that Phase operates, at zero commission. The claim is the same liquid-staking exposure the comparative review covers: a transferable token whose value accrues validator rewards net of fees and losses.
Current observation and perimeter
The DefiLlama protocol API read on 2026-09-15 classified Phase Stake under Liquid Staking and reported approximately $1.81M on a Solana-only perimeter, listed on 2026-08-27 with no recorded audit, sharing a parent record with Phase Delegation. It is the smaller of the two Phase products by a wide margin.
Control and comparison inputs
Single-operator delegation is the fact that distinguishes this record inside the class. All rewards and all slashing or downtime exposure route through one validator Phase runs, so operator performance is not diversified the way a multi-validator pool spreads it, and zero commission is a fee choice the operator can revise rather than a structural property. No audit is recorded and no protocol URL is published in the DefiLlama entry. Exit runs through stake-pool withdrawal under Solana epoch mechanics or through secondary depth, and at this size secondary depth should be assumed thin.
Research, shelf, and client selection
This record found no disqualifying defect, but favorable research does not create firm-shelf eligibility or a client recommendation. Firm policy must separately admit the product; client purpose and constraints then determine the candidate set; and the advisor records any selection and amount.

Inherited controls
The research above describes the protocol layer. Every position also inherits the asset it holds and the chain it settles on. The layer with the most administrative power sets the position’s effective control; that describes control, not quality or suitability.
| Chain | Verdict | Control | Control constraint |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solana | Approved with limits | Governed, no freeze | no admin key can seize funds, but stake concentration and a sub-25 Nakamoto coefficient are the standing watch items. |
