xU3O8 (uranium.io)

What the client owns
A beneficial co-ownership share in a pool of uranium oxide concentrate (U3O8) that Archax Ltd holds on trust in a storage account at Cameco’s Canadian conversion facility; 38,464.626 kgU on the Cameco statement for 31 July 2026 against 1,600,000 tokens, about one troy ounce of U3O8 per token. Commodity receipt: A receipt for an allocated physical asset held by a custodian.
Who may hold it
US retail investors. First purchase minimum not stated. State coverage not confirmed by the issuer. uranium.io says the only access limits are AML and sanctions screening; it screens each wallet through Provenance Ltd on first use and publishes no list of excluded countries or US states. Card purchases go through Transak, which runs its own KYC. There is no minimum purchase. Only a holder regulated by a national nuclear regulator, with an account at a licensed facility, can take uranium out.
Who can freeze or claw back
Etherlink: can freeze a holder, pause transfers, claw back, gate who may hold, mint, change the code. A single key can freeze a holder and pause transfers and claw back tokens. A single key can change the code with no delay.
How it exits
Redeem in kind. A holder with an account at a regulated uranium conversion or storage facility may ask for a book-entry transfer of the U3O8 behind its tokens to that account. uranium.io says physical delivery to anyone else is not feasible, and the white paper makes redemption conditional on access to a compliant facility and the ability to transport the material. No minimum, fee, or timetable is published. Settles in U3O8 (book-entry transfer between licensed facility accounts).

Who can change the record

Powers read from the deployed contracts and their verified source: the token and every contract it consults on transfer. A power recorded here is the issuer’s ability, not evidence it has been used.

Who holds the keys

Every current holder of each power, read from the chain on 2026-09-24. A single key is one private key: whoever holds it acts alone. A multisig needs the stated number of signers. A timelock makes every action wait, so holders can see it coming.

What the monitor reads daily

Every control function in the table above and the contracts the token consults on transfer; the token’s on-chain supply against yesterday’s; and its market quote against yesterday’s quote. Every document quoted above is re-read too, and a quote that leaves its document reopens the file. A key that appears, disappears, or changes shape counts as a change only when the chain’s own log shows the grant, revocation, or signer change between yesterday’s block and today’s; a difference the log does not show updates this file’s key list and nothing more. A change opens a review item in the governance queue and reopens the file before any client action. Subscribers get an email naming each of their clients who hold it, with the household result.
